INTRODUCTION
It would be amazing to be amazing at everything! Unfortunately, that is not how any of us are wired. We all have strengths, and whether we’re willing to admit it or not, we are all extremely weak in a variety of areas and at a variety of times. We may be surprised by our weaknesses, but God never is. He’s already charted a course through all of it!

HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ 2 Corinthians 12:6-8
As the book of Proverbs (16:18) so eloquently states, “Pride goes before destruction.” Not only is this powerful but also extremely pertinent. The weight of always being right, best, perfect, etc. is simply too heavy for any one person to shoulder. Sometimes we are weak and that weakness can be exactly where God wants to show the most intense power and intimacy with us, in us, and through us.
HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
Hope can only be found in a God who treats our weaknesses as opportunities. They can be opportunities to bring peace into a storm, shine light into darkness, wash away sin with grace, or lift weight that is absolutely crushing. In all of these ways and more, God shows His strength, love, and peace in those scenarios where weakness is the prevailing feeling without His intervention.
APPLICATION
PRAYER
Pray that God would use your weaknesses to show His strength and give you words of encouragement for others around you.
