PRE-K KIDSWAY CONNECT // SEPTEMBER

Preschool // September Kidsway Connect

August 30 & 31
Parent & Child Discussion
  • Bible Story: Baby Moses // Exodus 1:1–2:10
  • Big Idea: God gives me everything I need.

Parent Tip: This week, remind your kids that God is our ultimate provider. Even when life feels uncertain or scary, God is always working behind the scenes to give us what we need most. Share a story with your child about a time when you saw God provide for you in a surprising way.

September 6 & 7
Parent & Child Discussion
  • Bible Story: Manna in the Desert // Exodus 16
  • Big Idea: God gives me everything I need.

Parent Tip: Just like God provided manna every single day for His people, He still gives us what we need day by day. Encourage your child to pray simple daily prayers like, “God, thank You for giving me what I need today.” This helps build trust in God’s faithfulness.

September 13 & 14
Parent & Child Discussion
  • Bible Story: Water in the Desert // Exodus 15:22–27
  • Big Idea: God gives me everything I need.

Parent Tip: Needs don’t just mean food or water — sometimes we need comfort, peace, or encouragement too. Talk with your child about how God cares for both our physical and emotional needs, and encourage them to turn to Him in prayer whenever they feel worried or upset.

September 20 & 21
Parent & Child Discussion
  • Bible Story: Ten Commandments Part 1 // Exodus 19:1–20:11
  • Big Idea: God shows me how to love.

Parent Tip: The rules God gave weren’t meant to make life harder — they were given to show us how to live in a way that honors Him. Spend a few minutes this week talking about one of the Ten Commandments with your child and how following it helps us love God well.

September 27 & 28
Parent & Child Discussion
  • Bible Story: Ten Commandments Part 2 // Exodus 19:1–20:21; 31:18–32:19
  • Big Idea: God shows me how to love.

Parent Tip: Loving others can be hard sometimes, especially when people are unkind. Remind your child that God asks us to treat others with the same kindness and care we would want for ourselves. Challenge your family to do one small act of love for a neighbor, friend, or classmate this week.
