INTRODUCTION
Most of us learned how to handle conflict long before we ever chose how we wanted to handle it. Family patterns, experiences, and emotional reactions shaped us early, often without explanation. Scripture acknowledges these realities and speaks directly into the cycles that can quietly follow us into adulthood.
UNDERSTANDING
HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ JAMES 4:1
HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ ROMANS 12:17–18.
HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ EPHESIANS 4:31–32
The Bible does not pretend that conflict is rare or avoidable. It assumes conflict will happen and offers a way forward that leads to healing instead of damage. When conflict remains unresolved, it often becomes part of the legacy we pass on. God invites us to interrupt those cycles.
APPLICATION
Healthy conflict resolution is rarely comfortable, but it is deeply transformative. God often uses uncomfortable moments to bring freedom, maturity, and restoration. When we face conflict with humility and courage, we open the door for generational change.
PRAYER
Pray for clarity to recognize unhealthy patterns.
Ask God for courage to face conflict with wisdom and love.
Invite the Holy Spirit to bring healing where cycles have existed for years or generations.
