INTRODUCTION

  • What is something you learned from your parents or family growing up that still sticks with you today?
  • If you could instantly improve one habit in your home or family life, what would it be?
  • Who is someone that helped shape you through encouragement, consistency, or simply showing up for you?

Families have a huge impact on who we become. None of us come from perfect people or perfect homes, but God specializes in growth, healing, and transformation over time.

  • Why are trust and encouragement so important in relationships?

HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ MATTHEW 19:26.

  • Why is this verse important when talking about change and transformation?
  • What are some areas in life or family where people are tempted to lose hope?

God does not expect perfection from us, but He does invite us into a process of growth and transformation. Through His power, families can heal, marriages can grow stronger, and people can become new and improved over time.

APPLICATION

  • What is one area of your life or family where you want to invite God to bring growth or change?
  • How can you become more encouraging and trustworthy in your relationships this week?
  • What is one practical step you can take toward becoming the spouse, parent, or person God is calling you to be?

PRAYER

Thank God for His patience, grace, and ability to transform lives and families. Pray for strength to continue growing through the process of sanctification and for wisdom in every relationship.
