Tuesday

Pray and read Ephesians 5:1-2

"Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God."

1.) What are we called to do in the beginning of this passage?

2.) At the end of this passage, what example are we told to follow when being sacrificial?   3.) As you've come further in your faith, what are some examples of you growing in being sacrificial?

 

Wednesday

Pray and read Philippians 2:8-11

"And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Pray and read Luke 6:37-38

"Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”"

Friday

Pray and read Matthew 6:24

"“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money."

3.) How often do you let money take priority in your life over God? How can you grow out of that?

 

Saturday

Pray and read Luke 12:32-34

"“Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
