Sunday, September 10

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Ephesians 2:8-10

1.) Why might God want no one to be able to boast about what he has contributed to salvation?

2.) According to Ephesians 2:10, who are we? What does this mean?

3.) What does it say that God has prepared beforehand (Ephesians 2:10)? What does this mean for our purpose in life? Will we be accountable? How so?
