What is "Treat Your Street"?
"Treat Your Street" is an opportunity for our Medway small groups to show radical hospitality to friends and neighbors right where we live. Groups are encouraged to work together to come up with a way to go "above and beyond the fun-size candy bar" for the children (and adults) that are out trick or treating.
When Is It?
"Treat Your Street" is meant to coincide with your neighborhood's scheduled Trick-or-Treat times. If you are not sure when your night is, check with the local news or click the button below.
How Does It Work?
I'm so glad you asked!
first you need to
Pick Your Treat
Talk to your small group and come up with a special treat to give out on your neighborhood's Trick-or-Treat night. You can try hot chocolate, hot coffee, or even hot dogs.
Choose a home or location to gather at. Set up your "treat station" in the driveway. Don't forget to let us know when and where your group will be meeting.
then you choose a
Place To Meet
now it's time to
Treat Your Street
Show some radical hospitality by sharing your treats with kids and adults as they trick or treat through your neighborhood.
Pick up some Invite Cards from the Guest Services Desk and use them to invite your friends and neighbors to join you for worship at Medway Church.
and don't forget to
Save A Seat
Wow... That Was Fun!!!
After your group has had the opportunity to bless your friends and neighbors, let us know about your experience. Head over to our Facebook page and share photos or stories about your Treat Your Street experience.
