Dec 12 - 18

Sunday:  Philippians 2:1-11
What in life is truly precious to you?  Are all of the most important things in your life people?

Monday: John 15:9-17
Have you ever tried to see the world the way Jesus does? What would you have done differently yesterday if you had been looking at the world the way Jesus describes here?

Tuesday: Romans 10:14-17
What is something you have a different opinion on now than you did before you had a relationship with Jesus? How can this understanding help you when you are out in the world with people who don’t believe the same way you do?

Wednesday: John 3:16-18
This passage is one of the most famous in scripture. In some ways it sums up the whole message of the gospel. The Bible as a whole, is a letter from God to his people telling us what He was willing to do because He loves us. Today, follow his example and write Christmas letters to the people you love.

Thursday:  2 Corinthians 12:1-20
There have been many different ideas of what Paul’s thorn from verse 7 was. There is no guarantee our Christian walk will be easy. Is there something you have difficulty with or that you feel keeps you humble in your faith?

Friday:  Genesis 2:4-7 We tend to place great value on the things we create ourselves. Is there a part of you that you wish was created differently? Don’t forget that every part of you, down to your unique DNA, is handmade by God.

Saturday:  Micah 5:1-4
This passage contains a prophecy many consider to be a prediction of Jesus' birth. It was written hundreds of years before his birth. God plans way ahead. Looking back, can you see the evidence of his plan in your life?
