Sunday: Jeremiah 29:11 Have you ever looked back and realized something that happened in your life that God was at work? What was it? Notice that in this verse we learn that God; 1. Knows who you are. 2. Has a plan. 3. Wants good things in your life.
Monday: Luke 23:44-46 & 24:1-7
How did Jesus’s followers feel in each of these passages? Did the power of God change in either situation? Jesus is Lord no matter how good or bad things may seem. Take courage that he is Lord through every moment of our lives no matter what.
Tuesday: 1 Corinthians 2:6-10
We don’t always know what God’s plan is but we do know that He has a plan. With that in mind what are three ways you think God has prepared you to be a part of His plan?
Wednesday: Ephesians 4:11-16 What does “the body of Christ” refer to in this passage?
Does maturing in Christ mean the waves stop or just that you can serve steadily anyways?
Notice that all the positions listed in verse 11 are positions of service according to verse 12.
Thursday: John 15:9-17
Is there a way you can “lay down your life” for the people around you? What are some ways God’s will is revealed to us so that we can play our part? You are chosen to love those around you. What is one way you can do that better today?
Friday: Malachi 4:1-5
This passage is among the last words recorded in the Old Testament before Jesus' physical arrival on earth. What are some positive takeaways you can find in these verses?
Saturday: Galatians 6:7-10
Are there parts of your Christian journey you have grown tired of?
Is there something you used to struggle with that now seems like no big deal?
We are saved from our sin through Jesus’ sacrifice, but we spend the rest of our lives growing to be more like Him. How can you strive to be more like Christ and do good today?
