Mar 27 - April 2

Daily Bible Reading  //  Beginning Sunday, March 27, 2022

Sunday:  Mark 10:13-16
As an adult, what are some ways that you can hinder a child from meeting Jesus? He says we should, “receive the kingdom of God like a little child or we’ll never enter it.” Are the things we view as “not wholesome for kids” also “not wholesome for grown-ups”?

Monday:  Joshua 6:15-21
What walls have you seen God break down in your life? Why do you think Joshua gives the warning in vs 18? Do the steps God gave the Israelites to bring down the walls make sense to you? Do they need to make sense to you or just to God?

Tuesday:  John 15:1-17
How many times and ways does Jesus talk about “Love” in this passage? What are the “fruits” in these illustrations? What is the connection between bearing fruit and loving each other?

Wednesday:  Psalm 34
Take time today to read this Psalm as a prayer over your life and the lives of your family. Consider the prayers from your past God has answered. Maybe your being in church is an answer to someone else's prayer.

Thursday:  John 13:1-17
What is the kindest thing someone has ever done for you? Jesus shows us a beautiful example of being humble to show others the love God has shown us. Find an opportunity today to humble yourself in loving service to someone.

Friday:  Ephesians 2:1-10
According to this passage, what are we saved from? How is being saved through faith different from being saved by works?

Saturday:  Philemon 1
Who is the letter written to? Who is this letter about?
