Sunday: 2 Corinthians 12:1-10
Do you think we need to fully understand everything we see God (or not do)? Why does Paul choose to “boast” about this other Christian and not himself?
In your life, how has being weak helped God’s power to work?
Monday: Psalm 42
What state of mind do you think the writer of this psalm is in? What does the writer say they will do in spite of how they feel? Many scholars believe this was written by King David, one of the heroes of the bible. Whatever you struggle with, seek help and lean on God who loves you.
Tuesday: Luke 5:17-26
How did the crippled man get to Jesus? Right now, can you relate more to the crippled man or the people that carried him to get Jesus’ help? Sometimes we are the helpers and sometimes we need help. In this story, Jesus blessed everyone involved.
Wednesday: Proverbs 16
What are two ideas from this chapter you can apply to your life to help you grow? Does verse 31 remind you of someone you love? Pray for them today!
Thursday: James 4:1-12
How do battles inside us cause fights between us and the people in our lives? Why is being humble important? How does the idea of being humble relate to not spreading gossip?
Friday: Romans 12:1-8
