INTRODUCTION
The first time God ever said that something about His creation was not good, was when He said that it wasn’t good for Adam to be alone. Although groups and teams carry with themselves certain difficulties that make some of us desire to be loners, we can’t escape the fact that we are created to be in community. We have an inherent need to lean on others and be available to be leaned on as we traverse this life.

The first generation of Jesus followers set the bar really high! What a beautiful thing it would be to see that type of devotion and excitement in our lives and churches today! If we as Christians in 2022 would set our hearts and minds toward that type of intimacy with God and devotion to the fellowship of Jesus’ Church, maybe 3,000 people putting their faith and trust in Jesus this Sunday wouldn’t be an abnormal thing.

Understanding how amazing God is and how unimpressive we are is integral to embracing our purpose in this life. God demonstrates His love for us by giving us Jesus while we were still in our sin. That’s amazing! The Church exists to bring unimpressive people together, as chosen image bearers of God, to show the love and power of the very impressive God to the world. If His impressiveness isn’t visible through our lives, He won’t be visible in our Church.
APPLICATION
PRAYER
Ask God to break your heart for His Church. Ask Him to guide you to the fellowship and the ministry within His Church that He has for you.
