Sunday:  Matthew 5:27-30
  • What does it mean to commit adultery within your heart? 
  • What point is Jesus conveying in verse 29? 
  • What things do you need to cut out of your life to better follow Jesus?


Monday:  Genesis 3:1-13
  • This passage says the eyes of Adam & Eve were “opened”.  Why does God want our eyes to stay “closed” when it comes to certain things in this world?
  • Up to this point, Adam and Eve had a perfect relationship.  Based on vs. 12, how has sin impacted their relationship the previously perfect relationship between Adam & Eve?
  • What consequences have you experienced when you have chosen a path other than God’s best path for you?


Tuesday:  John 8:1-11
  • Think of a time you were caught in the act of sin, what emotions and consequences did you experience? 
  • Why did the Pharisees drop their stones and walk away? 
  • Who in your life have you focused on their sin while avoiding reflecting on your own and how can you treat this person differently moving forward. 


Wednesday:  Psalm 19
  • What is the main thing David is trying to portray in this Psalm and how does that relate to you? 
  • What does it mean when it says, “The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever”? 
  • In what area can you invite God to be your Rock and Redeemer this week? 


Thursday: Ezekiel 36:24-29
  • What are some blessings God has given you throughout your life? 
  • What does it look like for a follower of Jesus to have God remove their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh? 
  • What "uncleanness" has God cleansed from your life? 


Friday:  John 1:9-14
  • Why is Jesus referred to as the true light? 
  • What does your life look like when grace and truth are out of balance?
  • How can you better balance grace and truth in your heart and life?


Saturday:  Song of Songs 2
  • This poetic passage of scripture paints the most beautiful picture of love and intimacy.  What statements in this passage show you how they value one another?
  • Why does God include the warning in verse 7?
  • How would someone pursuing love outside of God’s plan impact the value and intimacy expressed for one another in this passage?
