- Write down five specific things in your life that you can praise God for today.
- How has God provided for you recently in an unexpected or undeserved way?
- What do you find to be most impressive about God?
Monday: Luke 15:11-32
- How would you act/react differently than the father if you were him?
- In what ways have you acted like each of the two brothers in your life?
- What life circumstances has Jesus pulled you out of when you put your faith and trust in Him?
Tuesday: Psalm 9
- Spend a few moments reflecting on the lyrics to your favorite worship song. Why is that song so impactful?
- How has God protected you from people and situations that would have harmed you?
- If you were to brag about God to someone that doesn’t know Him, what would you say?
Wednesday: Romans 6:15-23
- What positive things do you regularly offer (enslave) yourself to?
- What negative (and/or sinful) things do you need Jesus’ help breaking from?
- Spend a moment praying for strength and guidance that can only come from Jesus.
Thursday: Psalm 103
- How have you seen vs. 8-10 as true in your life?
- Spend a moment praying that God will help you experience vs. 12 regarding your hurts/habits/sin.
Friday: Romans 1:18-32
- How has God revealed himself in creation/nature so that people are left without excuse?
- What is one specific example from nature that you can use to tell people about Jesus?
- If our culture followed Jesus, how would the average person’s life improve?
Saturday: Genesis 6:9-22
- Reflect on specific examples - how bad was human society for God to take such drastic action?
- What emotions do you think Noah was experiencing during this?
- What situations in your life make you feel like you’re standing all alone and need God’s help?
