- When was the last time you were ‘still before the Lord’ and what was the experience like?
- When you are in a bind and need God NOW, what things help you ‘wait patiently’ for the Lord?
- Take some time today to “delight” in the presence of God.
Monday: Matthew 11:25-30
- How is Jesus’ burden lighter than your burden?
- What burdens has Jesus helped you carry over the years?
- Ask Jesus to take your burden and walk with you through this season of life.
Tuesday: Psalm 46
- What are your greatest fears/worries in life right now and are you allowing God to be your refuge?
- Underline every word in this passage that is an example of God’s strength. Read this passage several more times, until your attention is more on God than your fears and worries.
Wednesday: Zephaniah 3:9-20
- How are you serving shoulder to shoulder with God?
- Pick one of your favorite worship songs and sing it to God today.
- What feels broken in your life right now that you can ask God to restore?
Thursday: Mark 5:24-34
- How can you get closer to Jesus today?
- What have you been dealing with for a long time that you could take to Jesus today?
- Who in your life needs Jesus’ healing that you can minister to this week?
Friday: Genesis 2:1-3
- Why would an all-powerful God rest?
- How well are you doing at following the example God set?
- Plan a specific chunk of time today to completely devote to resting with God.
Saturday: Job 42:1-6
- What areas of your life do you fall into the habit of telling God how things should be rather than asking Him how things should be?
- How can you humble yourself before God this week?
