- Why do you think Simon Peter did not recognize Jesus until another disciple told him it was Jesus on the shore?
- If you were having breakfast with Jesus, what would you talk about?
- Take time today to talk to Jesus as if you were sharing a meal with Him.
Monday: 1 John 4:1-6
- What lies have you consciously or unconsciously accepted as truth?
- How do you distinguish between the lies and the truth?
- How can you improve at speaking with “the Spirit of truth” in your interactions with others?
Tuesday: Ephesians 6:10-20
- Which piece of armor are you the most comfortable with and why?
- Which piece of armor is most lacking in your life currently and how can you change that?
- Spend some time praying for relationships in your life you are currently struggling with. Remember your battle is not actually against them. (Eph 6:12)
Wednesday: Psalm 116:7-14
- On a scale of 1-10 how well do you do at trusting God while you are going through a difficult time and what can you do to trust God more?
- What vows have you made to God? Which have you kept and which have you not kept?
Thursday: Jeremiah 17:12-14
- Based on what you know of the Bible, what do you think heaven will look like?
- What has God healed you (or saved you) from?
- Spend some time praying for the healing you still need? Heart, mind, body, etc.
Friday: Matthew 19:23-30
- What have you been viewing as impossible in your life that you know God can do?
- What area of your life have you given up on it getting any better?
- Is there anything you need to give up in order to better follow Jesus?
Saturday: Revelation 21:1-8
- What are you most looking forward to about heaven?
- In what ways will your relationship with God be better in heaven?
- How can your life now better show that you are living for eternity?
