INTRODUCTION
“The best laid schemes of mice and men go often askew.” Although the Scottish poet, Robert Burns, was not quoting Scripture in his poem, he was speaking a universal truth. No matter how much we plan and dream, life has a tendency to turn in directions we simply cannot predict. This is why God invites us to walk in step with Him – the only one who both knows and controls the future.

Jesus never tells us to go through life alone… quite the opposite! When we drift, He draws near to us. And if we’re willing, He will provide companions along the way to help us rebuild areas of brokenness.

As long as we still draw breath, God has a plan for us. We may fall short of His best for us at times, but we are never disqualified from pursuing His purpose for our life today. If we accept His love and pursue His best for us today; peace, purity and purpose will be the result.
APPLICATION
PRAYER
Pray that Jesus would lead you toward restoring the broken places in your life and heal those hurting areas.
