INTRODUCTION
When we have something great happen to us or when we gain mind blowing insights, we have a natural reaction built into our very existence… we tell people! Why? Because it was awesome and other people should know that it was awesome! We don’t really need more reasoning than that. Maybe it’s braggadocios or maybe we benevolently care that others benefit the way we did. Either way, we want others to experience or at least know about it. That’s how God built us.

Few things get overcomplicated quicker and more thoroughly in the Church than evangelism. Even using that word “evangelism”, although correct, seems to indicate that there is something significantly complex and elite about introducing someone to Jesus (insert “shaking my head” emoji here). It’s. not. that. complicated! The simple phrase “come and see” can be the life-altering, eternity-securing, heart-changing crossover from death to life that someone is in desperate need of.

Preaching isn’t just something that pastors do in front of large groups on the weekends. Preaching is what you do every time you show people what Jesus looks like with your good deeds; every time you speak the hope of Jesus to someone who needs hope; every time you live for and speak truth when lies and darkness are creeping into a situation. YOU are a preacher… preach Jesus!
APPLICATION
PRAYER
Pray that God will give you an opportunity to share Jesus this week along with the courage and words to make the most of that opportunity.
