INTRODUCTION
Emotions can make us go a bit crazy sometimes. We argue, squabble, say & do things we wish we could take back… all because… well… we’re mad and something needs to be done about it! Left to our own impulses and emotions, we create and participate in strife, usually among those we love the most.

Establishing behavioral and relationship goals is a very important part in cultivating the better life that God calls us to. We’re not expected to simply stop getting angry… Jesus got angry! However, what we do with our negative emotions will either steer our lives toward calm seas or rough rocks.

It’s personal reflection time! David prayed to God in Psalm 139 a prayer worth repeating for each of us:
Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
APPLICATION
PRAYER
Pray that God would use you to bring more peace and less strife in your closest relationships.
