INTRODUCTION
Determining what makes someone or something special can be difficult at times. But you undoubtedly know whether or not they are special to you by applying one simple litmus test… remove them from your life and see if you miss them and why. Between us and God, the answer is easily seen in Scripture and in life. We are special and valuable to God and are called to be valuable and special to one another.

HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ MATTHEW 22:34-40
Pastor Mike talked at length this past weekend about the concept of loyalty. When you really boil down what God asks of us… what God offers to us… what God wants for us… it’s loyalty. Our loyalty and love for Him combined with our show of love and loyalty to those around us is the path to purpose, peace, and fulfillment in this life and in what God has for us in eternity.
HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ ROMANS 12:9-19
The path toward the better life to which God calls us is never easy. Jesus never promised that life would be easy following Him… quite the opposite! He warned us that we would have trouble in this life, but we don’t have to worry because God is loyal to us and loves us enough to give us Jesus… so we can handle this life as we cling to Him and He clings to us.
APPLICATION
PRAYER
Pray that God would show you areas where you are settling for less than He has for you and challenge you with specific things you can improve upon.
