INTRODUCTION
In discussing the story of Nabal, Abigail & David this weekend, Pastor Sean drew parallels to Jesus’ story of the Good Samaritan. So this week, we will spend time talking about bridge building and random acts of kindness using the parable of the Good Samaritan.

HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ Luke 10:25-29
Living the better life God calls us to requires a “me 3rd” philosophy. That means God is first, other people are second, and my own comfort & preferences come third. In order to build bridges in our world and foster relationships where Jesus can be brought to the forefront, we must observe and serve others.
HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ Luke 10:30-37
Relationships are difficult to form and bridges are easy to burn. God’s desire for us is that we go out into the world with intentionality, passion, and the posture of a servant to practice random acts of kindness, build bridges, and share the love of Jesus in a broken world.
APPLICATION
PRAYER
Pray that God would show you people and opportunities for building connections and practicing random acts of kindness.
