INTRODUCTION
(2) an achievement you’re proud of (ex. I’ve run a marathon, etc.)
(3) a prominent personality characteristic that describes you (ex. generous, hardworking, etc.)
Who we are is a difficult thing to articulate at times. The truth is, each of us is identified by the sum of a large number of roles, attributes, achievements, and many other things both positive and negative. The lens God uses to identify us is, however, much simpler and grace-filled.

HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ 1 Peter 2:9-10
We are special, chosen, and royal! That is what God says about us! To live in this world and daily represent these statements is no easy task. With God’s help, we can rise to the occasion. We can own the calling God has placed on our lives and take hold of the better life He has for us.
HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ Philippians 4:6-8
Controlling one’s mind is difficult. However, as God tells us here, it is absolutely necessary if we are to live out our callings in this life. God calls us to set our minds on the good things He has placed around us so we can naturally gravitate toward His better life for us.
APPLICATION
PRAYER
Pray that God would challenge you in new ways to set your mind on things above and represent Him in this world.
