INTRODUCTION
Decisions can be scary. Some of us are great at it and others struggle, but the power and importance of choosing wisely in this life stands boldly in front of us on a regular basis. Lucky for us we serve a God who lovingly coaches and guides us through all of life’s difficult choices.

HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ Deuteronomy 30:15-18
Choices have ramifications… obviously. But if we know this to be true, why do we so often choose that which nets us a lesser or negative life? Maybe it’s because we are unwilling to put selfishness aside. Maybe it’s because we are embracing the bliss of ignorance. Any number of reasons could be given, but none of them negate the fact that God calls us to the abundant and blessed life. That only comes from using the power of choice to choose His better path for us.
HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ Deuteronomy 30:19-20 & 31:1
Playing the long game is quite possibly the deciding factor between embracing the better life God has for us and falling short of it. It is so easy to get stuck in the here and now of day-to-day monotonies. God calls us to look generations ahead and ultimately to eternity with Him.
APPLICATION
PRAYER
Pray that God reveal His calling on your life a more vivid way and challenge you in new way to pursue His blessings.
