INTRODUCTION

• What is the strangest DIY fix you’ve ever seen actually work?  
• What is a tool/gadget/item/etc. you’ve discovered a cool new effective use for?

There are so many reasons God created each one of us.  First and foremost, he desires a personal relationship with us.  But once that relationship is formed, we get to see faith, action, and purpose join with God’s perfect power and love.  That’s when the really cool stuff happens!

HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ  Matthew 9:27-30 

• On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 = horrible & 10 = couldn’t be better), how strong is your faith in God right now?  Why did you choose that number?
• If God only did miracles in your life based on your faith (or lack of faith) how do you think your life would be different?

Allow yourself to think for a moment… what if God really does want to do in and through us exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ask, think, or imagine?  All of this amazingness is flowing through a faucet turned on and off by a handle that is our faith.  It is through faith that our souls are saved, our hearts are healed, our lives are transformed, and we get to participate in the Kingdom of God being revealed around us.


HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ  Ephesians 2:8-10 

• What has God saved you FROM?
• What has God saved you TO?  In other words, now that you’re saved, what SPECIFIC work does he want you to accomplish with the time you have left?

What if work was always meant to be a gift rather than a burden?  To participate in the work of God that flows from the grace which saved us… well that’s a beautiful thing.  There is much work to be done and we are the privileged ones who get to put our hand to that work with the years God gives us here.

• What is one new task you feel God wants you to try doing this week?
• Who are you praying for an opportunity to tell them about the amazing grace of Jesus?

PRAYER
Pray that God would use you in new ways to do amazing things this week.
