INTRODUCTION
Literature is a powerful piece of our culture. It has the ability to shape and sway people when done well. Many believe the power behind literature stems from the fact that God has chosen to communicate His words to us in the literary forms of Scripture. Being made in the image of God, we too have the impulse to communicate our thoughts and desires in similar ways.

HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ 2 Timothy 3:14-15
Scripture is powerful! It is so powerful that God even gives Jesus the title “The Word” in John 1. However, if Scripture is simply an intellectual study and not actually applied to our daily lives, we rob ourselves of its power to make a difference for each of us personally.
HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Allowing God’s Word to transform our hearts, minds, speech, and actions is the difference maker between the life Jesus created us for and the life of broken dreams we sink into without Him. There are unimaginably great things in store for all of us who hear the Word of God and apply it to our lives.
APPLICATION
PRAYER
Pray that God would speak loudly to you through His Word and that you would be obedient to hear and apply His words to your life.
