INTRODUCTION
♫ ♫ “I don’t want to grow up. I’m a Toys-R-Us kid…”♫ ♫
The comercial that so many of us remember has quite a lot to say about the human condition. Growing up, improving, achieving, etc… is difficult! It’s far easier to simply let life push you where it pleases and have others pick up the slack for your own immaturity. But God has better in mind for us and calls us to that more abundant life!

HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ Ephesians 4:1-10
Recognizing Jesus for who he is (Lord) is of the utmost importance. But second to that, is recognizing our own condition in relation to him. We are called to develop and grow. This is why we are consistently challenged with more and better things as we read Scripture and spend time in prayer.
HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ Ephesians 4:11-15
Nobody wants to be called a baby. But one of the pinnacle gut-check moments that can be a major catalyst for spiritual growth is hearing from God “grow up!” May we never shy away from being called to the carpet on our own aversion to maturing in the faith!
APPLICATION
PRAYER
Pray that God would challenge you to grow in new ways this week as you look to Him as Lord of your life.
