INTRODUCTION
Going after all that God has for us in this life doesn’t just mean that we seek to avoid evil. That’s only half of the equation. We are destroyed by both sin AND folly. This means that something may not be sinful… but it’s still stupid. Something may seem very logical and intelligent… but it’s evil. God’s best means that we learn to embrace both righteousness and wisdom.

HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ Proverbs 22:1-8
Proverbs is an incredible book of truisms from God to guide us toward a life led by the wisdom that He provides. It’s like a point-by-point road map of how to have an effective life, family, moral compass, etc., etc.. Any of these one-liners could be almost endlessly elaborated on as we apply them to our lives.
HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ Proverbs 22:9-16
Truth is challenging. It’s like a mirror and many times we don’t like what we’re looking at. When this happens, don’t avoid looking in the mirror. Instead, God’s best life for you means that you change what’s looking back at you. Applying God’s wisdom to your life in all scenarios while simultaneously pursuing His righteousness daily… well, that’s a life worth living!
APPLICATION
PRAYER
Pray that God would open the floodgates of wisdom on you and challenge you to go after His best life for you.
