INTRODUCTION
Whether it’s February’s hallmark holiday or Hollywood’s latest blockbuster, no one can deny that we are a culture obsessed with love. From romantic love to sacrificial honor-driven love, the emotion and devotion to this concept is overwhelming. It’s almost as if God put a desire deep within us to seek out and experience that which only he can fully satisfy and model for us.

HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ John 3:16-19
There is not a more famous verse in Christendom than this one. Have you ever asked yourself why? This is the pinnacle of love, the pinnacle of purpose, the entire driving force behind all that God accomplished through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. And it was all for YOU because he loves YOU!
HAVE A VOLUNTEER READ Romans 5:6-8
To experience love is the greatest thing we can experience as humans. Among the experiences of love, none is greater and more powerful than the love that comes from the Father. Jesus allowed us to see aspects of the amazing love of God and now challenges us to go show that light to the dark world around us.
APPLICATION
PRAYER
Pray that God would shower you with his love this week in ways you’ve never experienced and point you toward others who need to experience it.
